You are aware of the manifold activities of the Delhi Centre of the Ramakrishna Mission in its over 75 years of existence.  We have added a few new initiatives in areas like computer training for children of the middle and low income groups, mobile medical van, introduction of sophisticated diagnostic facilities in our medical centre etc.  It has been our endeavour to serve the people to the best of our ability within our limited resources. 

As you are aware the centre runs on voluntary donations made by the devotees and its well-wishers.  Delhi being the capital city of India and Delhi Centre being the most major centre in North India, we have to maintain a large establishment to cater to a large number of monks and devotees visiting Delhi.  There has been a general increase in cost of living including tariff of electricity, telephone, water, gas, etc.  In the face of rising prices, we are facing problems of balancing the budget.  To be able to run the centre without curtailing our activities or deterioration in the quality of our service, it is essential to build up a corpus of fund.  This can be in the form of endowments from our well-wishers for the General Fund, Educational or Medical purposes.  I appeal to our well-wishers to contribute generously for the purpose.
